Hélas! A word of drama, longing, and passion — and the inspiration for a recital of vivid French colour and expression. Mezzo-soprano Megan Napier and pianist Annalien Ball present an enchanting programme of French art songs and arias, from the playful cabaret charm of Erik Satie to the passionate mélodies of Georges Bizet, alongside beloved French opera favourites.
