She loves to work with various mediums - inks, watercolour, acrylic, oil, pen, charcoal, mixed media...and lately her work has often included free-hand machine sewing as she most of all loves sketching with continuous line! she specializes in a range of art work, from illustration work, portraiture, figure drawing, perspective work, theatre backdrop painting, sculpture, lightboxes done by painting with enamel paint on perspex, still-lives, landscapes, calligraphy.....but always with FUN as the main element!! Her new teaching studio (in Glencairn Heights, near Simon's Town) has recently been completed, where she plans to do workshops based on specific themes. Her work has a loose, playful element...based on reality, but with impressionistic heart. She ALWAYS has her sketchbook with her....as it is her way of keeping a visual diary of life.
