ABOUT
The Cape Outback is one of the most exciting mountain bike stage races in South Africa. The route traverses 400km from Stilbaai to Stanford in the Western Cape, South Africa. The Cape Outback consists of four point-to-point stages through some of the most scenic natural areas in South Africa. Large parts of the route can only be accessed during the Cape Outback and is out of bounds to mountain bikers for the rest of the year. The terrain, the route and the race format combines the excitement of a mountain bike stage race with the vibe of an expedition.
