our First brand-spanking-new "New-comer Queen of Burlesque" !

Our Show consisting of 6 x competitors and 6 x seasoned performers will start at 8pm!

("What is burlesque, you ask? Well, my dear, quite frankly, burlesque is the *art of the tease*... That is, it's sort of like stripping, but with taste and tassels - and without the 'tart'. Expect fans, feathers, glitter and glamour dished out with a sprinkling of humour and just a *little* nudity... So bring the girlfriends, the husband, the wife, and the boys... But leave the kids at home in bed!")

 

~Over the past 6 months, Bronwyn Ruth Willilams (Owner of Mechant & Gentil Lingerie) and Miss Oh! have created a platform for those new to the Burlesque scene, to perform their peice of mini theatre Live on the Tanz Live stage.

The Tournament of Tease, launched in August 2013, is a monthly revue showcasing the Burlesque talents of tomorrow. The dynamic-duo have focused on Johannesburg performers, but will soon be expanding throughout the rest of the country.

The top TWO contestants of each of the heats in 2013 will be performing at the finals held on 12th April- where we will crown the winner!

Come to Tanz Live to watch it all 'un-fold', our Finalists will compete for the Title of  Miss Tournament of Tease 2013- Queen of new-comer tease.

Our 2014 Heats will start in May, so (if you have the balls) enter the competition - there are tens of thousands of rands worth of prizes to be won! - But 'bare' in mind - there are only five contestant slots available in each heat - so secure your slot early to avoid disappointment.
