SAPRO Best Recycled Plastic Product Awards 2019

ABOUT

Join us for the SAPRO Best Recycled Plastic Products Awards. This competition aims to acknowledge products that are made from recycled materials, thereby encouraging brand owners, retailers and industrial designers to consider recycled plastics as a material of choice.

This year's categories include, but are not limited to:

1. Inclusive award: for products made from 100% post-consumer plastic collected, recycled and converted in South Africa
2. Number 7 Award: for products made from a mixed plastics, collected, recycled and converted in South Africa
3. Engineering Award: for products containing a percentage post-consumer content 
4. Switch Award: for Brands and Producers that divert large volumes of post-consumer plastic from landfill
5. Newcomer Award: for new or novel (including artistic and upcycling) entrants into the market
6. Overall winner: for the product that exemplifies innovation in the full value chain and best showcase recycling of post-consumer plastics

Attend the gala dinner event of the year- hosted on 4 November 2019, 18h00 for 18h30, at Workshop 17, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
