Elandsvlei Primary School Fundraiser

ABOUT

Every year after AfrikaBurn has taken place, a massive assortment of leftover non perishable food, collected at "Collexodus" from Burner's exiting the event, is donated to Elandsvlei Primary School.

The food collected and donated contributes a full year's worth of non perishable food to the feeding scheme currently in place at the school. This feeding scheme provides meals for 40 children, 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. AfrikaBurn's annual contribution of non perishable foods to the school allows the school the flexibility to spend more of their funding on fresh foods resulting in better balanced meals for the children who benefit from this feeding scheme.

Due to the cancellation of AfrikaBurn this year, that donation of food will not take place and has left Elandsvlei in a difficult financial position. Now more than ever, there is a need for Elandsvlei Primary School to continue to feed the children that attend the school.
