ABOUT
Ubuntu - This is the second episode of the Mandisi Dyantyis "Conversation Series" which is part of the five episodes that will feature over the upcoming month’s “Conversation Series”. This episode is entitled Ubuntu “I am because you are”
As Archbishop Desmond Tutu explained, “My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together.” He truly understands that the potential of human beings working collectively to achieve goals is infinitely greater than the potential of any individual.
Mandisi and his full band will perform songs inspired by the community and the households of his youth, and will be chosen from the Mandisi Dyantyis catalogue as well as other songs he grew up listening to on the streets of New Brighton. It will be streamed to your home on Saturday, 1st August 2020 at 7pm.
Please note that this concert will not be available as a free Youtube screening after the event is over. It will possibly be available for a paid re-stream if there is a demand.
