ABOUT

The legendary actor, musician, play writer and screen writer and band leader of the Radio Kalahari Orkes, is one of SA’s most beloved persona.

Whilst working on the German TV series Auf Asche, Ian Roberts met the East German actor Meinfred Krug. In between takes, they used to tell stories and Meinfred said: “you Sous Affricans” you like to tell jok jok joke. In Russia we tell anecdoot. Then with the lockdown, Ian Roberts wrote his “Anecdoot – Lessons in Acting”
