Creative Inspiration I Anxiety Support I Boredom Hacks
Breathwork Africa and Room 206 have teamed up for a morning of anxiety support and boredom hacks for our little teenagers (9-12 years old). A 2.5 hour workshop of creatively inspired breathing and storytelling tricks to better empower and support your almost-adult children as they navigate their new realities.
No boring zoom classes. No homework. No parents.
Parents! They need this time.... but so do you. You're welcome to hang out at Mike's Kitchen for breakfast while we take good care of your Tweens.
Booking is essential. Quote "Tween" when securing your spot at the restaurant.
OH MY WORD - Workshop Details:

- How to breathe through your worst zoom class ever.
- How to journal your angry feelings.
- How to write your own rap song.
- How to relax your nerves and create your own breathing dragon.
- The difference between good secrets and dangerous secrets and how we manage them.

- No parents allowed - hang out at the café for breakfast while we take good care of your tweens. Booking essential and food/drinks for your own account.
Our promise to parents:
A morning of wellbeing techniques in a fun, safe and supportive environment; filled with non-invasive techniques for empowerment and creative freedom. A chance for your children to beat their focus dips, get creative, get away from their screens and own their feelings as they approach their teenage years. This is a workshop for tween wellbeing – and an opportunity for Moms and Dads to take some time off.
Learn more about your facilitators:
Marj is a Director at Breathwork Africa and qualified Breathwork Practitioner who has a unique gift of working with young people. Her background in communication and coaching, as well as her own life experience has afforded her deep insight in the human condition. Marj's passion is to equip young people with the ability to experience life fully.
Natasha Fracchiolla is the MD and founder of Room 206. She is a communications expert with over two decades experience as a writer, content producer, editor and marketing manager. Natasha is passionate about the purpose, meaning and healing in words and the writing process. Natasha believes in the power of a positive mindset and intentional wording to push boundaries in life and business. “I believe that when we get real with ourselves and each other through writing and story sharing, we are able to sift through our pain and step into our most joyful life.”

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
In purchasing a ticket to the OH MY WORD! workshop you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, and any additional rules that may apply on the day of the workshop, or that may be introduced by Room 206 and Breathwork Africa to regulate the smooth running of the workshop.
- A ticket for the OH MY WORD! event costs R 755 per person incl. vat
- The age group for the OH MY WORD workshop is strictly limited to Tweens between the ages of 9-12 years
- Only one person is allowed to attend per ticket purchased.
- Should you or your child on the day engage in offensive behaviour or commentary during the workshop Room 206 and Breathwork Africa reserve the right to ask you to leave the event immediately and forfeit your ticket.
- Room 206 and Breathwork Africa reserve the right to take pictures on the day of the event and share these for marketing purposes on their respective social media pages. Should you as a parent not want your child to be in any pictures please flag us in writing at least 24hrs in advance. You can email [email protected]
- Should Room 206 and Breathwork Africa for whatever reason not be able to host the event on the day due to circumstances beyond their control of the event will be moved to the next available date.
- Your personal information is collected by Room 206 and Breathwork Africa for purposes of the workshop and you agree that we may add you to our mailing database.
- Should you no longer be able to attend the event 6 days notice is required in order to qualify for a refund on your ticket. Your ticket will be refunded to you once Quicket has refunded Room 206 and Breathwork Africa (up to one week from the date of the event)
- Any refund of a ticket price will exclude the Quicket booking fee of R 5
- You (the ticket holder) will be responsible for any bank charges incurred in processing the refund. In addition, Quicket reserves the right to deduct its commission from the refund payable to you in which case you will be refunded a portion of your ticket fee (less 4.9% ex vat)
- All rights reserved. No part of this Room 206 and Breathwork Africa workshop may be reproduced or filmed. Failure to comply will result in legal action
- Masks or face shields are compulsory on the day of the event. Children showing signs of flu, runny noses or high temperatures will not be permitted to join the OH MY WORD! Workshop.
- All food and rinks ordered at Mike's Kitchen on the day of the workshop are for your own account.
- Errors and Omissions excepted.
COVID DISCLAIMER : Your safety comes first. Masks are compulsory. Temperatures will be taken on arrival as well as a COVID register. Children showing signs of flu, runny noses or high temperatures will not be permitted to join the OH MY WORD! Workshop. No refunds permitted. The onus is on parents to ensure health regulations are met. Cancellations are accepted no later than 6 days prior to workshop date of which a full refund will be granted.
