Drumming for Horses!

Play and dance into the new season! It’s the time of year where The EARTH Centre and Harmonics host the spring part of the biannual fundraising drumming event -in celebration of the horses, who bring such vital therapies and support to the community.

Come and join us alongside the horses, and let Harmonics facilitate our drumming into the sunset; be at ease around a fire; be re-energised, re-connected and present in that space with us and the community that has grown around our centre and the fun we have!

This special event is hosted every Equinox to draw attention to, as well as to honour the transformative effects that come with the sun's travels back over the Equator, and the changing of the seasons this brings - for the land, for people, for our herd and all life around us.

The EARTH Centre is an NPC with dedicated staff who work diligently to maintain the wellbeing of their horses and the children with special needs they support. Funding the centre is a full-time endeavour that needs constant attention and much support from our community. These special drumming events bring in some financial support at the same time as they allow us to shake things up for ourselves and the horses in a very good way!

And, we can give a little back to our community by creating a time and space where you can simply let go into rhythm, let your body be moved by the drumming and enjoy the time connecting with like-minded, supportive people...

The drum circle is guided and friendly to all ages - no musical experince needed.

Ticket prices include a drum on arrival - if you have your own Djembe drum you are welcome to bring it along (this does not change the cost of the ticket)

Renate from Nigiro Tea Merchantswill be serving some nourishing, yummy and immune supporting teas – both hot and cold teas will be available, as well as some tea brewing merchandise. 

Next to Renate, EARTH Centre will serve fresh filter coffee and hot chocolate, along with some savoury and sweet snacks.

Feel free to bring your own food- to augment our snacks, and enjoy that either before or after the drumming.
