TMusicman Spectacular Concerts at the City Drive-In Sandton City

Tickets go on sale on 12 September 2021.  Access the link to book your tickets on www.tmusicman.co.za, www.sandtoncity.co.za or directly through Quicket.co.za

Tickets are issued as follows:

·       R200 per vehicle. Vehicle access is limited to private passenger vehicles only and occupancy is strictly limited to 4 pax per car REGARDLESS of type of car or car size

·       Where is The TMusicman Spectacular Concerts at the City Drive-In located? The TMusicman Spectacular Concerts at the City Drive-In is located on Sandton City’s Rooftop Parking using the Sandton Drive Entrance

·       There are no tickets available on the website? Can I buy tickets at the gates? There will be NO tickets available at the door To avoid disappointment, please check our concert schedules (artists, day, time through www.tmusicman.co.za

·       Where do I park, I can’t see a seating plan? All tickets to The Tmusicman Spectacular at the City Drive-In, are unreserved parking spaces. Larger vehicles such as SUV’s or similar will be directed to the back of the parking, so everyone has an unobstructed view of the screen. Please obey and listen to the parking marshals.

·       Is there reserved parking? Will I see the screen? Our 14-metre-wide screen is clearly visible from all areas of the venue, and we have allowed for plenty of space to ensure you get a great view from wherever you are. As with all unreserved parking events, the earlier you get there the more prime a position you can secure for you, your family and friends.

·       What time do gates open? Gates open 1 hour prior to the show start time.

·       Can I bring the kids? Yes, this is a family friendly festival.

·       Can I bring my own picnic basket / pizza / snacks / drinks? No, the The Tmusicman Spectacular Concerts at the City Drive-In, will have refreshments available for purchase on-site as well as offerings from Sandton City tenants. Feel free to pop into Sandton City before, during and post the concert and support our tenants.

·       Please note this is an ALCOHOL-free event, consumption of alcohol will not be permitted.

·       Will refreshments be served at The Tmusicman Spectacular at the City Drive-In and can I purchase using cash or card? Yes, refreshments will be on sale. The Concerts are CASHLESS however debit/credit cards are accepted.

·       Must I bring cash / Will you have ATM’s on site? The Concerts are CASHLESS, thus no cash. Debit/Credit Card purchases will be allowed. We have done our best to avoid cash transactions at the drive-ins in the interests of minimising contact and COVID-19 health and safety. 

·       Do I have to pay for parking? No, parking fees are included in the price of your movie ticket.

·       Can I bring my pet to the event? Nope. We love pets, but in a public space it just gets awkward, so please leave your pets at home.

·       How will I hear the concert? We have a state-of-the-art transmitter, the FM frequency will be shared at each screening at the drive-in – it will be awesome! Please ensure that your car’s stereo is in working condition as the sound frequency will be transmitted through it. You will need a working radio to hear the soundtrack.

·       Can I bring my camera? Yes, take as many photos as you like and share your selfies with us before and during the event on social media.

·       Can I smoke? Ignoring the awkward health lecture, as a drive-in event, you will be allowed to smoke in your vehicle only. However, you are encouraged to refrain from smoking at the event.

·       What happens if it rains? Nobody likes rain on their parade! As this is an outdoor drive-in, The Tmusicman Spectacular at the City Drive-In, is subject to the elements and will go ahead in most weather conditions, including lightning, intermittent or potential rain and wind. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on the screening night and acknowledge that tickets are non-refundable in the event of adverse weather. A cancellation will only be considered if the conditions present a danger to patrons or staff and will be clearly communicated to all ticket holders. If the event is cancelled, you will be issued with complimentary tickets for a future event. All tickets are subject to our full terms and conditions available at the time of purchase and our wet weather and cancellation policy.

·       Can I walk in? Unfortunately, The Tmusicman Spectacular Concerts is a drive-in music event (maximum 4 people per vehicle regardless of car size). In line with COVID-19 regulations and for your safety, we require people to remain in their cars as much as possible. In addition, in order for you to hear the concert, we are using a state-of-the-art transmitter which will be shared at each screening. Therefore, please ensure that your car’s stereo is in working condition as the sound frequency will be transmitted through it. We don’t want you miss out, we could consider getting 3 friends and carpooling with them.

·       What happens between the shows if I bought tickets for both the 3pm and 7pm show? Kindly note that you will be required to remove all vehicles, directly after the concert finishes. Please feel free to park (parking ticket will be validated) and enjoy the mall and come back when gates open for the next show (18:00).

·       Should you require to exit your car before, during or after the show, Sandton City’s stringent safety and hygiene measures remain in place, to ensure the health and safety of all visitors: Wear your mask correctly by covering your mouth and nose; sanitise regularly at any of Sandton City’s strategically positioned sanitising stations, or wash your hands frequently with soap and water when you visit the bathroom facilities. Practice physical distancing by standing at least 2 metres apart from other shoppers. Please ensure that you adhere to these regulations at all times while at Sandton City. 

·       What Covid-19 health and safety precautions are in place on site? By the very nature of this event, The TMusicman Spectacular Concerts at the City Drive-In and the use of its Sandton Drive Entrance, by Tiger Wheel & Tyre, is contactless.

o  Sandton City is a Covid-19 compliant, SAFE certified shopping centre, as certified by an international rating agency. Our commitment to your wellbeing remains unchanged, and we continue to re-evaluate all measures, ensuring your visit with us is always safe.

o  Should you require to exit your car before, during or after the show, Sandton City’s stringent safety and hygiene measures remain in place, to ensure the health and safety of all visitors: Wear your mask correctly by covering your mouth and nose;

o  Sanitise regularly at any of Sandton City’s strategically positioned sanitising stations, or wash your hands frequently with soap and water when you visit the bathroom facilities;

o  Practice physical distancing by standing at least 2 metres apart from other shoppers.

o  Please ensure that you adhere to these regulations at all times while at Sandton City.
