KZN Philharmonic Orchestra Spring Symphony Season

ABOUT

We celebrate the return of celebrated conductor Justus Frantz, to open the season which will feature one of the world’s most in-demand violinists, Ms Ye-Eun Choi. The programme opens with Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro followed by Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, and concludes with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in c minor.

The 2^nd Special Spring Concert, under the baton of popular conductor Daniel Boico will feature award winning pianist, Georgy Chaidze.  The evening opens with Karen LeFrak’s Gravity which is followed by Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1; and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 6 in D Major, rounds off the programme.
