ABOUT
After a very long time of not being able to come together and sing and perform, The Philharmonia Choir of Cape Town want to give thanks in the best way we can, with you, our audience.
We want the shout from the roof tops and rejoice that we can come together again to sing and make music. Who better to join us in this quest than Cape Town Concert Brass ?
The Groote Kerk has the largest church organ in South Africa. Our organist, Kevin Kraak, will be raising the roof in accompanying the choir and, you, the audience, as we raise our voices in thanksgiving.
Highlights of our jubilant program conducted by Richard Haigh and Stuart Scott :
- Lux Aeterna (Lauridsen) with Organ
- I was Glad (Parry) with Brass and Organ
- Hymn Old Hundredth (Vaughan Williams) with Concert Brass and Organ
- Olympic Fanfare (John Williams) with Concert Brass
- Kingdom Triumphant (Eric Ball) with Concert Brass
