ABOUT
Join Feya Faku and his quintet on the 26th of February live at The One Room on Westbourne Road. Feya launches his two albums, "Impilo and "live at the Birds's Eye", which will be available for sale.
"When I couldn't play it was very painful. I can't live without music, I can't live without my instrument. I was eager to play all the time. May South African jazz lovers and my brothers and sisters in the music, prayed for me and supported me during this time. It is important for me to take my healing, my healer, to them- because for me, music has always been a healing force. I hope these records and this performance allow people freedom to be honest because music is bigger than us- to be honest, humane, about our experiences and hopefully take the positive from mine"
