Join us for an inner city, artisanal food experience overlooking the city of Johannesburg from the historic The View Boutique Hotel. Some say, it's "in the country, relative to the city!"
The View was built in 1888 by mining magnate, Julius Jeppe as a wedding gift for his daughter, and today you can enjoy the magnificent views over the city of Johannesburg from its sprawling lawns and its manicured rose and herb gardens.
Guests are delighted with a picnic box, boasting locally cured meats to the likes of Parma ham, Pancetta, Lonza & Salame Toscane, an array artisanal cheeses, Brie, Camembert, Provolone..., seeded crackers and breads hot from the oven, a selection of vegetable inspired dips including beetroot tzatziki, cucumber raita & hummus, preserves, seasonal fruits, a trio of fruit and nut date balls and home made ginger beer!
