ABOUT

SA cellist Francois “The HA! Man” le Roux has specialised for thirty years in performances of spontaneous improvisation, with no two performances alike. In addition to playing the cello, he incorporates keyboard, voice and dance.


A national icon, he has performed widely across this country in theatres and cultural festivals, as well as Europe (including the Royal Albert Hall), North America and the Far East.


The meaning of life? “HA!” Just that. A simple breath. A snapshot of what it is to be alive.
