ABOUT

Join the Johannesburg Bach Choir for our first concert post the Covid-19 pandemic! We'll be singing some well-loved choral music, including Handel's famous Hallelujah Chorus. Also on the programme will be music by popular British composer, John Rutter. We'll be singing his arrangements of Psalm 23 and "For the beauty of the earth". Rutter's "A flower remembered" is a new addition to our repertoire, and we'll bring this beautiful piece, composed in memory of the 2011 tsunami victims, to this concert. Topping off a popular programme will be our conductor, Tim Roberts, playing the widely recognised "Gabriel's Oboe", accompanied by Ruth Coggin. Book today for this concert on Sunday 15 May, at 2.30 pm at St Francis Church, 46 Tyrone Avenue, Parkview, Johannesburg. This concert is part of the St Francis Music Festival, presented by Tim Roberts and Apple Green Music.
