ABOUT
A B O U T T H E S H O WAfter a triumphant sold-out run last year, The Whole Megillah is back starring award-winning actor Harry Sideropoulos. Garnished now with some fresh adaptations and new segments, the show that had audiences ‘laging’ and gasping for air, promises to do just that all over again.
Harry, who has had a long standing relationship with the Jewish community, takes the audience on a hilarious journey of discovery, as he attempts to unpack and better understand the world of Shabbat dinners, matzah balls, being kosher, eating gefilte fish, kashering over Pesach, talking after ‘vasing’ and how facebook’s Joburg Jewish Mommies are saving the world one post at a time.
Armed with a designer kippah in one hand and a his personal Jewish advisory board in the other, our Greek protagonist endeavours to unpack this colourful community, which shares so much in common with his own heritage and delivers a powerful, poignant and hilarious one-man show that will leave you the audience feeling re-energized for your next day’s luncheon at ‘Friends Bakery’.
