ABOUT
Tuesday, 21 June is International Global Awareness Day for MND/ ALS (Motor Neurone Disease / Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) with the hope of raising awareness and much needed funds for new research, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
National Patron of MNDA South Africa and one of South Africa's most gifted and beloved artists, Aviva Pelham joins forces with Sipho Fubesi, Louise Howlett, Melikhaya Ndabeni and Sihle Mtitshana for an evening of opera, Broadway and tango in support of tango legend, Mark Hoeben- who was diagnosed with MND/ALS in December, 2020.
The singers will be joined by pianists Stefan Lombard and Albert Combrink, as well as tango dancers Rodney Ehrlich & Sally Candy, Wilhelm Liebenberg & Saskia Van Rijn and James Kipling & Denise Anderson.
The evening takes place at 6 Spin Street Restaurant Gallery on Tuesday, 21 June. Doors open at 6pm for wine and canapes and the concert begins at 6.30.
Tickets are available from Quicket at R240 including welcome drink and canapes.
