CTL Creative Connections: Moths And The Art Of Transformation

The theme of our first CTL Creative Connections event is Moths And The Art Of Transformation. 

This is an illustration workshop that allows us to use creative play as a medium for connecting with each other. 

This workshop is fun, no pressure, and can adapt to all skill levels. Whether you regularly make art, or have no art experience at all, this event is for you. We believe art is for everyone. And the main objective of the event is to connect and create with others. 

This workshop will cover the following:

• A quick overview of the fascinating diverse world of moths, and how they symbolize change. 
• The basics of colour theory and how to choose colours that work well together.
• Warm-up exercises will allow us to learn the basic shapes for drawing moths.
• Explore multiple art materials that can be used in your final artwork.
• Sketching and completing your own unique artwork.

Ticket Price Includes:

• All art materials needed.
• A R100 complimentary food/drink voucher to be used during the event. 

This is an LGBTIQA+ friendly event, but is open to anyone.
