All the wines that will be going under the hammer will be offered today, as well as the night before this, on the Friday evening session. This Virtual Live Auction will be held at the Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West and hosted by Strauss & Co, South Africa’s leading art and wine auction house.
This entry ticket to the Auction entitles you to delicious food from top local chefs, and wines from the members of the Cape Winemakers Guild throughout the Auction. Should you wish to bid on the Auction, you will need to register in advance.
There will also be an informal (self pour) tasting of the 2022 Auction wines from 08:00 in the Vergelegen Room at the Lord Charles Hotel Conference Centre.
To bid on the Auction you first need to have a Bidder's Account with Strauss & Co. If you do not have one yet, please create your Bidder's Account by clicking HERE.
Once you have a Bidder's Account set up with Strauss & Co, you must register to bid on the 2022 Nedbank Cape Winemakers Guild Auction at www.straussart.co.za from Monday, 12 September 2022. You only need to register once to bid on the Friday and Saturday sessions.
