Drumming for Horses!
Play and dance into the new season and celebrate Heritage Day with us! It’s the time of year where The EARTH Centre and Harmonics host the spring part of the biannual fundraising drumming event -in celebration of both our heritage as Africans and the horses, who bring such vital therapies and support to the community.
Come and join us and let Harmonics facilitate our drumming into the sunset; be at ease around a fire; be re-energised, re-connected and present in that space with us and the community that has grown around our centre and the fun we have!
The EARTH Centre is an NPC with dedicated staff who work diligently to maintain the wellbeing of their horses and the children with special needs they support. Funding the centre is a full-time endeavour that needs constant attention and much support from our community. These special drumming events bring in some financial support at the same time as they allow us to shake things up for ourselves and the horses in a very good way!
The drum circle is guided and friendly to all ages - no musical experience needed.
Ticket prices include a drum on arrival - if you have your own Djembe drum you are welcome to bring it along (this does not change the cost of the ticket)
The EARTH Centre will have pizza slices, fresh filter coffee, hot chocolate and some sweet treats on sale
Renate from Nigiro Tea Merchants will be serving some nourishing, yummy and immune supporting teas – including delicious bubble tea with a variety of milk options, as well as some tea brewing merchandise.
Feel free to bring your own snacks to enjoy either before or after the drumming.

Gates open at 16:00 - Main drumming event is from 17:30-19:00 - The whole event ends at 21:00
