What is a brand? Ask 100 people that question and you’ll likely come up with 100 different answers. The themes may overlap, but brand building is a hotly contested topic within marketing circles. So, why are brands so valuable? Why is building a valuable brand so difficult for entrepreneurs to achieve? In November 2022, Heavy Chef is asking two brand authorities to unpack this thorny subject. On Tuesday November 15th, live on stage at Workshop17 Sandton, Heavy Chef will host the author of Brandalism, founder of Retroviral and co-founder of MatchKit, Mike Sharman, and Ernest North, the co-founder of Naked Insurance, one of Africa’s fastest growing brands.
