A truck driver came from the North and left his lorry on the side of the road.
A man came from the South and one morning he found 400 boxes lying on the side of the road.
A young woman came from the West with a head full of curls.
A woman came from the East and is still waiting for the next train.
Roland Schimmelpfennig explores what it means to have our destinies predetermined and how we are linked to each other in inexplicable ways. In The Four Points of the Compass fate brings together four strangers from the four different points of the compass. Over time the strangers become intertwined in each other’s lives and today one of them will be gone forever.
