ABOUT

MSHENGU PROJECT is a Musical movement formed by Lally Tshabalala, a Professional Bassist who writes and arranges almost all the songs for the band. He describes his music as "The Music from the heart for the hearts" as all these songs are based on true life events that he experiences around him on daily basis. Songs such as "Siyamthanda's Blues" titled after the birth and life of his daughter, "Ingoma KaMma" which describes the love he experienced while raised by a single mother yet also celebrates all other women and "Be Happy Anyway" which encourages people to be happy despite the situations we are facing on daily basis. 

Lally has shared platforms and worked with reputable artists such as Zonke Dikana, Siphokazi, The Late Mam' Sbongile Khumalo, Bongi & Collin, Camagwini, Zuluboy and Joel Zuma just to name a few.
