André is vir meer as 25 jaar in die musiek bedryf. Hy skryf sy eie liedjies en sing in beide Afrikaans en Engels, hy is veral bekend vir sy goeie vertolking van die musiek van "Leonard Cohen", en dit is steeds sy gewildste "winter-maande" vertoning.
Hy is ook 'n baie gewilde Country Sanger en sy laaste CD wat hy opgeneem het, was "Tribute to Country Legends: Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson & Don Williams." Sy passie vir musiek en sy sagte gees maak hom gewild onder oud en jonk.
