Jonathan Stephen Simons (JSS) is a self-taught musician, composer, singer, songwriter and producer who shares an honest and raw expression of emotion through all his music. He is joined on stage by, close friends and talented musicians, Ant Mr Bardo on the lead guitar, Ray Adam Morgan on the drums and Stephen de Souza on the bass. Together, they create a full performance sound as well as awesome, contagious energy on stage that makes you want to dance and sing along.

Opening for JSS is another local band, Hartleyvale. The group was formed in 2020 by four friends who met in music school; James Nevin on the lead vocals and guitar, Keagan Hollywood on the drums, Ryan Stopforth on the guitar, keyboards and vocals, and Luke Verrezen on the bass. Their music inspires and mesmerises and they are usually seen sporting matching overalls on stage.

When JSS and Hartleyvale shared a lineup earlier this year, they established a mutual respect for one another’s craft and decided to team up to share more lineups in future. This is the first event of more to come!
