On the 19th of November, the One Room will transform itself into a lounge full of furniture, turntables and artworks to host the incredible Zambuktu for an intimate live experience. The listener will feel as if they have stumbled into a lounge where a group of friends are using their music to process life in this crazy place. Anybody drawn to lyrical songwriters and storytellers like Springsteen, Dylan, Cohen and lovers of alternative folk music will get a kick out of this show. The audience can expect to discover Tim Hopwood's compositions which all have a uniquely South African twist. Hopwood’s songs are described by renowned author Rian Malan as “stinking of veld and kak and jol and swak behavior, leading to babelas.” R100 a ticket. R130 at the door.
