ABOUT
Join us for an end of year celebration and welcoming in the summer season!
In collaboration with the Ukutya Club Experience, we are hosting a specially-curated African indigenous 3 course meal and experience, showcasing seasonal, foraged and wild foods. Ukutya are a Gqebera-born food movement founded by home cooks and food activists Nabo Binase and Lipato Shogole. Drawing inspiration from an abundant food landscape, using Living Soils produce and Cape edibles growing in the SI garden, Nabo and Lipato will be our guides through indigenous food and practice. Welcome drinks and a food installation will open our time together. Join us for a long lunch under the trees accompanied by wine and engaging conversation.
Date: 3 December
Time: 13h00 - 16h00
Location: Under the oak tree at the Sustainability Institute
