Good day to all our Campers & Clubbers!

We have missed you all very much and are grateful & excited to be able to host and celebrate 10 years of Clubbers Campout in March 2023 with you!

Our unique concept off taking some of Cape Town’s most consistent club & event DJs camping for a weekend has established itself as the only 3 door outdoor festival catering for our Cities Clubbing Community. Since our very first event at Kleinplasie in Worcester on the 15th,16th & 17th March 2013, we have hosted 10 campouts and are looking forward to our 11th one on the 17th, 18th & 19th March 2023 at our favourite venue, the Circle of Dreams in Riviersonderend as we celebrate #ClubbersTurns10!

Our last campout took place just 4 months before the Global Pandemic sent us all into what seemed like an eternity of lockdown’s with many restrictions that impacted both the events and night club industry extremely hard on many levels. With all restrictions now lifted and our city and its occupants slowly starting to recover, we are getting ready to host the best possible weekend of camping with awesome entertainment just for you!

It’s been a hard fight over 10 years to keep our flag flying and it’s only through the help of sponsors, loyal suppliers and our faithful campers that we are able to breath life back into Clubbers Campout and get together again!

About The Venue:

We have hosted 3 previous events at The ‘Circle of Dreams’ on the Jongenskloof Farm in Riviersonderend (GPS 34*08’16.27”S 19*59’43.14”E). It has been utilized for many years by the Trance community for the mother of all outdoor events: Vortex as well as Ram Fest which hosted 10 000 campers. The owners are keen to have us restart our event here as it provides awesome weather in March (no wind) along with ample shade and protection from the elements for camping and is isolated enough for us to put the biggest sound system we have ever used before along with modern intelligent lighting to create the ultimate night club in the middle of a forest!

We will be working closely with the venue management to ensure that onsite ablution facilities are maintained along with additional shower trailers & toilets as this venue has its own water source for ablutions. All showers will have hot water with set hours to ensure that everyone gets their share of steam, daily. Electricity points will be spread around the festival so campers are welcome to arrive early and bring leads, LED light bulbs and chargers. Ground fires will be strictly prohibited but campers are welcome to bring portable braai stands and skottles. Huge bonfires can be enjoyed by all with 6 bonfire pits situated around the venue.

Campers can park their cars right beside their tents under the protection of the tall, shady trees that are situated throughout the 15 000 capacity venue. No glass alcohol products will be allowed on site and all vehicles will be searched upon entry. Please save your plastic containers for your spirits and shooters. (NO BEERS & CIDERS in TIN OR GLASS AT ALL)

The river offers a great place to cool off so bring your swimwear along.

Directions:

From Cape Town take N2 towards Somerset West. Go over Sir Lowry’s pass. Drive through Caledon to Riviersonderend. From Caltex on RHS in Riviersonderend Travel 7 km’s & turn left at DR1306.

From George: Take N2 to Cape Town - Past Swellendam & turn right at DR1306.

This will allow us to track exactly how many campers are expecting onsite and cater for them accordingly with regards to security, ablution and medical staff.

Saturday Entry: We will not be making any tickets available at the gate on Saturday the 19th March 2023 AT ALL! Should you have friends wanting to join your campsite or are only able to make it on that day, a camper already on the premises will be able to buy tickets at our onsite office by the food court till 8pm for R500. That armband can then be taken to the gate and issued to waiting friends.

GlampZone Bookings:

1 x GlampZone Booking is valid for the event duration as accommodation.

It does not include your All Weekend Pass.

Gates open 9am Friday, 17 March 2023 and music stops at 4pm on Sunday 18 March 2023.

The Glamp Zone will be enclosed with shade cloth and will only have 1 access point with 24 Hour Security. VIP Showers & Toilets and Ladies Vanity Area will be exclusively for GlampZone Campers, with a janitor service that will maintain the area.

(Please bring your own power lead of at least 5m & a multi-plug along. It will be checked for faults before being plugged into our grid)
