LECTRIC LICKS (Musical Shape Shifters)
Lectric Licks is a live electronic music group from Cape Town, South Africa, comprising Christoph Koch and Gerhardus Coetzee. This soul stirring duo crosses the bridge between Deep house and Melodic Techno. Formed in 2018, their unique sound is derived from live guitar, keys, synths and vocals, which they define as colour that the eyes have never seen. Be sure to catch them live to experience their remarkable melodic journey.
ORLY MAYA
DJ Orly Maya plays deep melodic sets, bringing together organic house, desert tech, and electronic grooves, often with strong tribal, classical and world music influences. With her music, Orly tells stories, taking listeners on exploratory – often emotive – journeys of beats and sounds.
Orly has performed at major international festivals, including Boom Festival, Ozora and Burning Man. She is a regular on South Africa’s festival scene, playing at events like Bazique, AfrikaBurn, Return to the Source, and Place of Dreams.
Trained in classical music, opera and choral music, Orly has explored a range of musical styles, before finding a home in electronic music.
