KELP COOKING CLASS: Workshop and dinner
Join us for an immersive, interactive and fun afternoon cooking class introducing kelp seaweed as a sustainable and delicious ingredient, expertly guided by the Veld and Sea team. This underwater sea vegetable is nutrient dense and offers the magical fifth flavour of umami. Together as a group we will be cooking in the kitchen cabin and over fire with drinks, music and wild flavours, learning how to make:
· Kelp ravioli
· Kelp lasagna
· Kelp bulb cooking – sweet & savoury
After the kitchen session, we will enjoy these delicious creations at an early dinner in the Glasshouse. A beautiful follow up recipe PDF booklet and a seaweed gift is included.
All ages are welcome
All dishes are vegetarian.
