What is a better way to run and admire the spectacular view of our Capital and its beautiful scenery? A circular route that starts and ends in Fort Klapperkop, the third fort erected just before the outbreak of the Anglo-Boer War. The route winds around the top of Klapperkop, to give you the bird’s eye view of the city.
Food stalls, refreshments, exhibitors and entertainers will ensure there is enough fun for young and old!

The Trio Series is proud to support Friends of Groenkloof and Klapperkop Nature Reserves. The Friends of Groenkloof and Klapperkop Nature Reserves are a non-profit volunteer based organization with the aim to maintain and conserve these nature reserves in Pretoria, South Africa. Some of the past projects include: Security upgrades, game fence, road game grids, reintroduction of wild animal species, rehabilitation, tree planting, MTB trails, removal of wattle and invasive alien plants, signage, etc.
