Standerton Goldi 4-IN-1 Race
RACE INFO: 42.2km marathon, 21.1km half marathon, 10km and a 4.9km fun run
DATE: To be held on Monday, 21 March 2023 at 06:00. The fun run starts at 06:10.
STARTING POINT: Start and finish at Hoerskool Standerton Sportsfield/Stadium (Cnr Berg and Joubert Street - Enter from Berg Street)
NOTES: Race day entries are allowed - COME EARLY
ROUTE: Out and back. Undulating course, tarred road, water points every 3km
PRIZE GIVING: After cut-off time of 5 hours and 30 minutes - i.e. at 11:30.

No Prize Giving ceremony as per COVID rules. Prize money will be handed out as runners complete the race.

Bronze medals for 200 finishers within cut-off times.
Bronze medals for fun-run.
Rules
- REFEREES’ DECISION IS FINAL Obey all Traffic Officials and Race Marshals.
- The race will be run according to the rules of ASA, WA (World Athletics) & AMPU House rules.
- No seconding will be allowed. No pacing of any kind.
- Ages: Athletes for 10km must be 14 years, 21.1km must be 16 years, 42.2km must be 20 years or older on the day of the race.
- Proof of age (ID) to be produced upon request on day of race.
- All athletes will participate at their own risk. Registered athletes must wear full club colours.
- 2023 license numbers on the front and back of the vest.
- Temporary license at the front on the vest.
- Remember to complete the Temporary license tear off slip immediately and hand it back to the organizer.
- Age category ID tags must be clearly displayed for the duration of the event (back and front) by athletes competing for a category prize AND must be fixed on all 4 corners and not be covered by rain jacket or any shirt
- Asa license numbers must not be covered with any paper race numbers /race bib.
- This is a close competition for runners, walkers with a fix “W” welcome.
- Prize giving will be conducted at the finish after the main race
- Any Foreign athlete must have a confirmation letter or permit from their Sport Federation.
- 12% levy on entry fee must be paid over to Athletics Mpumalanga by race organizer
- No littering, please make use of waste boxes on the route – RUN CLEAN
- All participants must take note that photographs may be taken at the event and placed on social media
- For the 42.2km race, there will be a cut-off at the halfway mark at 2.5 hours. Runners not reaching the haflway mark by 2.5 hours will be picked up and transported back to the finish
- No earphones allowed during the race
- No prize money for the fun-run, only medals
- No license numbers necessary for the fun-run

School tuck shop will be open. We're improving the tuck-shop offering this year due to many requests from previous year. So bring family and friends along and support our tuck shop!
