ABOUT

The Artist Development Forum is an event presented by Africa-USA Radio, an online radio station by Africa-USA Unity events, which is an organization headquartered in the US, and whose main objective is to promote African music to the American audiences. This is but one of their several initiatives to equip artists and and set them for success. It will take a round table format, with four panelists coming through to address several topics but also engage with the audience on the day just spark a conversation on how to generate success. The target audience are artists, promoters, artists managers, producers and anyone who's keen to learn about the music business industry and how to make success of it.

Panelists will include the likes of Kina Nhlengethwa – Metro FM Station Manager/SA-FM Acting Station Manager, Quebec Miya - Africa-USA Unity Events CEO, Renneth "Denga" Tshisikule - Director of IMEXSA (Independent Music Exporters South Africa) and Percy Ingle - South African Music Producer, Artist Manager and Actor.

The topics to be discussed on the day includes: Relationship between artists and Radio, Pricing yourself and your services as an artist, Tips and ways on Exporting your music, Music Synchronization – Getting your music on Films/TV/Adverts/Games, etc and Nature of the Music business and the industry in the USA.

The R100 entry includes light breakfast.
