The Festival of Fire™ - South Africa’s Hottest Chilli Festival!

This exciting outdoor event is happening on 20 April 2024 at The Ostrich @ Cape Town Ostrich Ranch, a quick 25-minute drive from Cape Town city centre.

Join us for a day of fiery fun and immerse yourself in a world of heat, thrills, mouthwatering cuisine, and remarkable locally produced products designed for the bold, the young at heart, and anyone who simply loves all things chilli! Whether you prefer a mild kick or a full-on fiery burn, we have got something just for you! The excitement and culinary extravaganza continue with food trucks and stalls celebrating chilli in their unique way, plus cold beer and beverages, live music, entertainment, cooking demonstrations, tasting experiences, guest speakers, international-level chilli competitions, prizes, and so much more. The festival promises to be an immersive and unforgettable experience on this year's calendar.

• Get the Hot Wings or Plant-Based Nuggets Challenge, available to purchase at the venue

• Join the Public Vote and have a say in picking the category winners from the Hot Sauce Competition finalists (as judged by our fantastic celebrity judges: Prim Reddy, Pete Goffe-Wood, and Hein Scholtz) (Competition Entry Required for Nationwide Hot Sauce makers**)

• Brave the Super Hot Chip Challenge if you dare (Competition Entry Required **)
