Fundraiser Fun Run

ABOUT

The Kinship Programme is a registered NPC with the purpose of cultivating critical consciousness and encouraging pro-environmental behaviour. Last October we launched an initiative called Labours of Love which is dedicated to uplifting natural environments in our community through hosting volunteering opportunities. However, these projects require funds to purchase the materials used (such as shade cloth, paint, rope etc). All funds raised at the Fun Run will be used for our current projects in Lower Virginia Bush.

A little about the evening:

We have two race routes (2km for children; 5km route for adults) that wind through the three Virginia Bushes. Routes are marked and the kiddies route has marshals along the way too. After the run, refreshments and pasta will be available for dinner. Pasta needs to be pre-ordered. Once people have received their meals/drinks we will lead a round of Bingo. Please also pre-book your Bingo cards.

Registration from 4:45pm

Kid's Race starts at 5:15pm

Adult's Race starts at 5:20pm

Bingo starts at 6:15pm

Costs for the evening:

Race entry (both kiddies and adults): R55pp

Pasta portion: R55

Bingo card: R30

For purposes of catering and smooth running of the event, we would prefer tickets to be bought in advance (before 25 February). However, we will have a Zapper code at the event for late entries.
