ABOUT
NCT Presents Noko Goes to School in our OUTDOOR Imagination theatre
It’s the first day at Nature’s School for Noko the porcupine.
At last its lunch time and Noko and his new classmates are hungry and hurriedly scurry out of class so that they can devour the yummy lunches that their parents have packed for them. Upon opening their lunch bags, and seeing Mmabudu’s lunch squirming about, it becomes clear to these bushveld buddies that, their lunch packs contain very different items. They look with horror at each other’s food items - I mean who ever heard of eating wriggling mopani worms! There is loud argument and dissent, sparking one-upmanship and bullying, Is Noko going to be able to solve the problem?
Eleni Theodorou's new tale, set in the heart of the South African bushveld, compassionately sparks curiosity around the deep value of cultural diversity and inclusivity, encouraging children to explore what makes us different, yet so special and so able to interact and be friends.
Presented by National Children’s Theatre, in our safe OUTDOOR IMAGINATION THEATRE.
This is family entertainment at its very best - an occasion not to be missed!
Suitable for children age 3 and up.
