On March 21st, Johannesburg will play host to an inspiring event celebrating the power of poetry and human rights. Voices of Freedom Poetry Night will feature open mic poets from all backgrounds and walks of life, coming together to share their unique perspectives on the theme of freedom.


Taking place on Human Rights Day, this event will highlight the importance of human rights and the power of creative expression to bring about positive change in society. With its vibrant arts scene and diverse population, Johannesburg is the perfect setting for this celebration of freedom and artistic expression.

Based in the beautiful gardens of Namaskar, we invite everyone to bring a picnic blanket or camping chairs and make themselves comfortable in the wander and awe of the venue. With every note being present in the different bottles, there should be something for everyones tasting as you listen to the stirring words of our poets.
