ABOUT

An all time favourite children's bedtime story brought to life through dance by the KZN Midlands Youth Ballet. Choreography by Robin Van Wyk with guest artists from Cape Town, the ballet tells the story of Jafar's desire to rub the magic lamp and bring forth the magical Genie, but Aladdin gets to meet the Genie first in the Cave of Wonders, wanting to become a Prince and fall in love with Princess Jasmine. Talented young dancers from Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas will perform the many characters in this legendary story filling the Hilton College Theatre stage with vibrancy and enthusiasm.
