When the acclaimed Writer and Producer Deon Opperman asked Matt to perform a show about Elvis Presley’s music, Matt (being passionate about Elvis’ Music) jumped at the chance.

There was only one condition however. Matt wanted this tribute to be an experience from his perspective and not just another impersonator in a catsuit. Deon agreed and “Hound Dog” was created especially for Matt’s aptitude.

Hound Dog runs a whopping 75 minutes - non-stop. Besides the great melodies, Matt’s charming personality and laughter evoking comments, the show also focuses on interesting historical bits about Elvis’ life. Hound Dog is for the whole family, for old and young and even those who don’t particularly like Presley’s music. Like the teenager who made a comment after one of Matt’s performances: “I never thought I would like Elvis’ music. It’s way before my time. Now I am a fan”.
