Ever wanted to visit the beautiful Royal Natal National Park and hike the Tugela Gorge/to the base of the tallest waterfall in the world???

Place: Mahai Campsite

Time: 8.30am

Cost: R750pp

What is included: your entry,&camping fee, bonfire, 2x guided hikes (Tugela Gorge and Gudu Falls).

details of the hikes:

1: Tugela Gorge: appr 13km (return trip) Grade 3

Duration: appr. 6 hours

2: Gudu Falls: appr 8km (return trip) Grade 3

Duration: appr. 4 hours

Please note that moderate fitness is required for both hikes. No beginners or casual hikers will be allowed!

What to bring::

for the hike: snacks, water or cold drinks, a cap, a backpack. also a phone or camera to capture all the beauty!

Hiking boots with good grip. a hiking stick is compulsory for this hike. please bring one OR purchase one from us for only R275.

For camping: all your camping gear (tent,sleeping bag, mattress, lights and whatever else you think you may need. All your food and drinks.

Prices:

2 men tent R200 for the night.

Sleeping bag+ mat R150pp

Please note that we need 10 confirmed bookings to go ahead with this event. If quota is not met, event will be cancelled and refund will be processed.

No refund or credit if you are a 'no show'!

If event is cancelled due to bad weather, it will be re-scheduled and new date will be given.

Grading Of Hikes:

Grade 1 Easy. Minimal fitness required

Grade 2 Not too strenuous. Moderate fitness

Grade 3 Moderate. Physical fitness advisable

Grade 4 Strenuous. Physical fitness essential

Grade 5 Very strenuous - high level of physical fitness essential
