Bass Safari proudly presents Serengeti Sound.

Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word “Siringit”, which means the “place where the land moves forever” or “endless plains”. The Serengeti represents not only the ultimate wildlife migration spectacle but also the manifestation of the great circle of life.

At Bass Safari, our passion for the deep rumbling basslines and resonating jungle sounds of drum & bass is a massive part of our circle of life. This experienced in combination with world-class sound, the blessed natural surroundings of Africa and a communal gathering of bass heads is a driving force behind Bass Safari’s vision. This has brought forth a new sonic adventure we’re proud to present… Serengeti Sound. A synergistic connection of humans to sound and the beautiful circle of life.

Serengeti Sound takes place from 29^th to the 30^th of April, so be ready to dance into a wild and starry night with a quality line-up of local drum and bass artists. Gather with the bass tribe to close out festival season, with this 2-day, open-air, bush rave filled with dusty basslines and jungle breaks!

The Bass Safari team - with over 15 years’ live entertainment and production experience, hosting events across South Africa and surrounding countries - is a collective of like-minded bass heads who have dedicated themselves to creating some of SA’s top rated Drum & Bass musical and visual adventures. This unique and inclusive gathering is sure to leave a memorable impression, where we guarantee a beautiful sonic experience and a welcome space to connect your inner animal to your bass roots.
