The Cape Consort and Welgemeend Concert Series present, Innamorato .
Innamorato translates to "being in love", and the featured music of this wonderful programme will take us through the various aspects of being in love: from the giddy falling in it, to the sincere commitment, and also to the despair of loss. Early Italian Baroque songs by Frescobaldi, Monteverdi, and Strozzi will be in store for concertgoers.
The Cape Consort consists of Antoinette Huyssen (Soprano) Hans Huyssen (Baroque Cello) and Grant Brasler (Harpsichord), who will grace the stage of the Welgemeend on Wednesday, 26 April 2023, at 19:30.
