The saying translates to whatever will be, will be. When Tsholo started DJing back in 2012, women who DJ were few and far in between. Either you couldn’t find one, or no one took them seriously. No one would’ve ever thought that there would come a time when South African women, and women all over the world, who DJ dominate the music industry. All that teaches about life is, whatever is mean to happen, will happen. It may take months. It may take years. But in the end, que sera sera. “When I created this concept, I started by thinking, “what can I do to celebrate the strongest players in the game that have outlasted the obstacles that come with the love of DJing?” . For every women that’s on this line-up; Owami De DJ, Binna Binnz, Shera The DJ and Rosetta D33P - I say, whatever good is meant to happen in your journey, will always be. Continue breaking the ceiling. One dancefloor at a time.” Tsholo says.
