It is with great excitement that Durban Girls’ College Senior Primary presents our first Grade 4 - 7 panto-style musical production!
Cinderella and Rockerfella is a fun and upbeat musical retelling of the classic fairytale, "Cinderella." In this version, our rags-to-riches Cinders longs to escape the clutches of her mean ugly stepsisters, who are hilariously portrayed as a pair of bumbling cheerleaders.
Despite Fairy Nastyboots’ constant attempts to thwart her, Cinder's fairy godmother comes to her aid, providing her with the perfect outfit and a ticket to the ball, where she meets the handsome rockstar Prince Charming, who now goes by the name of Rockerfella. However, things don't go quite as planned when the stepsisters try to steal the spotlight and win Rockerfella's heart for themselves.
With catchy songs and a hysterically funny script, Cinderella and Rockerfella is a charming and entertaining musical that is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
