Jump into a world of thrilling outdoor activities at the 12th edition of the Beaulieu Challenge, set to ignite your adventurous spirit on 9th July 2023! This isn't just another day of mountain biking or running - it's a festival of fun and community spirit, amplified by the stunning backdrop of the Kyalami countryside.

Highlights

1. Community & Celebration: This event is more than just races. It's a family-friendly extravaganza bursting with stalls, music, food, drinks, and unending fun!
2. Timed Races: While you can always enjoy a leisurely ride around the tracks, there's an undeniable rush in testing your limits against the clock. Feel your heart pound in time with the rhythm of the trail as you race for your personal best or to climb the ranks.
3. Prizes: To make the races even more exciting, we're offering prizes! Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a first-time participant, you'll have the chance to earn more than just bragging rights.

We've prepared a wide selection of races suitable for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're looking to challenge yourself, spend a delightful day with your family, or compete against other schools, the Beaulieu Challenge is where you'll want to be.

Please note the following important information for parents and children:

1. Entrance is free for spectators.
2. For any race, participants must purchase the relevant ticket. This applies to parents who wish to accompany or assist their children during a race - if you're on the course, you must have a ticket. (Except for the 1 Km walk)
3. The 1km walk is the exception. Recognising that the little ones may need some assistance, we allow parents to accompany each child without the need for an additional ticket. The cost for a child participating in the 1km walk is R 60. (Parents free)
4. Please note: the 1km walk is the only race where assistance is permitted on the course. For safety and fairness, we ask that parents respect this rule across all other races.

Mountain Bike (MTB) Races

• 40 km – Start at 08:00
• 25 km – Start at 08:30
• 10 km – Start at 08:45
• 5 km – Start at 09:00

Trail Run Races

• 10 km – Start at 09:00
• 5 km – Start at 09:15

Walk

• 1km – Start at 09:20

All races take place along the beautiful Kyalami countryside, offering a unique mix of bridle trails, jeep tracks, and plenty of single tracks. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a first-timer, there's an adventure waiting for you at the Beaulieu Challenge.
