ABOUT
Tshepo Tsotetsi is a young and vibrant musician.
From Kathlehong Brass Band trumpet, alto horn, euphonium, trombone, and tuba to the National School of the Arts and too many orchestras to name.
Tshepo's interest in composition and arranging led to the National School of the Arts orchestra playing his first orchestral composition. This gave him the opportunity to put together a twelve-piece orchestra to perform at the presidential inaugural awards.
Tshepo founded the ‘New Skool Orchestra’, and appeared as a composer and soloist in 2011 with the University of Pretoria Symphony Orchestra.
He has collaborated with Christian Muthspiel on ‘Out of South Africa’ which made its debut during the Miagi German tour in 2012.
Tshepo then founded the New Skool Sextet performing locally and abroad, and releasing a debut album called ‘Birth of Change’.
Band leader, composer, saxophonist/clarinetist, and arranger, this is a show not to be missed.
