Mbokodo Rise arose out of those women led efforts to empower the women of South
Africa and pioneer a new mode of engagement that would aide them in taking up space,
cementing themselves and determining their own destinies despite the multitude of
inflictions the society has impacted on their beings.
Our underlying theme is always to help support young entrepreneurs in the Bay and we
strive to use the best SMME’s to provide quality service. SG Comms has been very
intentional with the use of small businesses who provide excellent products and
services in being a part of all our productions. For those who wish to expand their
market, we also have an expo at the back of the auditorium with a myriad of exhibitors
who will be showcasing their businesses, services and products.
Our mantra is “Nothing for us, without us” Before executive decisions are made
about the women and children of the Metro, their input is also required in order to make
a more informed decision.
