The Development and Alumni Relations Division at Stellenbosch University is thrilled to invite you to the first Pre-Grad Day. This special event is designed exclusively for our final-year and postgraduate students and intends to provide valuable guidance, insights, and resources as you embark on the next chapter of your academic and professional journeys.

Pre-Grad Day is a comprehensive programme that aims to equip students with the essential skills, knowledge, and resources to navigate the transition from university to your desired career paths. The day will be filled with engaging workshop sessions led by esteemed industry experts, and successful alumni who have excelled in various fields.

During the workshop sessions, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Polish your job search skills: Gain insights on writing compelling resumes, crafting effective cover letters, and mastering interview techniques that will make you stand out in today’s competitive job market.

2. Build your professional network: Discover the importance of networking, learn valuable strategies for connecting with industry professionals, and explore opportunities for mentorship and collaboration.

3. Enhance your personal branding: Discover the power of personal branding and learn how to create a strong online presence through platforms such as LinkedIn. Gain insights on how to effectively showcase your skills, experiences, and achievements to potential employers or academic institutions.

The workshop sessions will be followed by the Career Café: CEO Round Table Talk, which involves experiential leaders who have succeeded in building a name for themselves in the various industries.
